Miscellaneous Stories

The usual writing update: I'm 1600 words in The Adjusters #18, and it's progressing on track. Thanks to everyone that made suggestions as to what could happen to Serena and Kyra in that episode. It's very helpful. And you folks are just my kind of twisted people! Meanwhile, I'm also revising #13 which will come out with next Wednesday's post. (Yes, in case you haven't noticed, I'm aiming for two posts a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays. We'll see how long that last!)

Nothing specific to talk about today, so let me just do a quick round up of interesting smut I've run across or was reminded of this week.

First, to remain within the domain of blackmail stories, there's this great continuing story on Storiesonline by Minty, Callie's Downfall: "My life was great. 17, and I had the cutest girlfriend you could ever imagine. All we needed was an extra bit of money for a prom dress. Unfortunately it got Callie into a whole heap of trouble with her losing her innocence in a big way in the process." Great characterization, great writing, all around hot stuff. Have a read. 28 chapters, and more to go. (The author has taken a bit of a hiatus on this story, but says he will be returning to it, so I have great hopes.)

Second, another blackmail story, this time by Linda Jean at Literotica, A Wedding Day to Remember, in three parts: "Young bride gets used by everyone." Short and to the point, but a lot of rather nasty sex in that one, and worth reading if that's your cup of tea. While you're at it, look at the rest of Linda Jean's stories, there are some other doozies.

Baphomet posted his final chapter of The Landlord.

Finally, a straightforward but still twisted tale by SmithPortinoi over at Literotica, Nerd's Rewards: "Geek boy takes advantage of mistaken identity and scores." There are some amazing scenes in there. I particularly loves the one where Larry, the said geek boy, fucks Jessica in front of her sleeping boyfriend.

An Adjusters Poll: Fun with Serena and with Kyra

I talked about this in my last post, but either it got lost in the long post, or you folks don't particularly care. Either way, I'll give it a second shot.

I finished writing the first draft of The Adjusters #17 today (and it will require some massive revisions, because I think I've messed up Cindy's characterization in that one -- remember Cindy?), and I'm starting #18 tomorrow morning. My idea with #18, tentatively called "A Day in the Life", is to use it to illustrate the life of the dick girls, and give some cheap thrills in the process. It will segue into the seven episodes making up the back end of Book II.

Now, I know more or less what I will write about, but there are some holes still. In particular, I want there to be a scene with Serena and a scene with Kyra, being used by the Delta Iota Kappa brothers as they go about the business of their day. I have a couple of ideas for them, but I'd be happy to get some suggestions from readers if there's something specific that you'd want to see.

So tell me, in the comments or by email, if there's any way that the brothers could use Serena and Kyra that you'd find hot.

(And yes, I do take suggestions into account. The last one, about Radhu and Serena, I figured out a way to slot into episode #22. You know, just to give you something to look forward to!)

Author Spotlight: Vulgus

A quick update first. I did finish the first draft of The Adjusters #13 yesterday. It's clocking at upwards of 8000 words, 1500 of which were taken from my original version of that episode from two years ago, the rest new. No wonder it took a while, for an episode that was supposed to already be written. But at least I'm happy with it now. Next, a couple of editing passes.

Meanwhile, I'm almost done with #17. My aim has always been to have at least one sex scene in every episode, but for that one, I found it difficult to work one in. Part of the problem is that the episode is a transitional one (it's tentatively called "Intermissions"). But I think I figured a way out of that hole. We'll see how it's received.

I'm about to start on #18, which hadn't existed in my head until earlier this week. I want to use it to illustrate the life of the dick girls, and give some cheap thrills in the process. My working title is "A Day in the Life". Should be fun to write, and it will segue into the seven episodes making up the back end of Book II. But first, I need your help.

Informal Poll: In #18 I'd like, among other things, to give a couple of scenes of Serena and Kyra being used by the Delta Iota Kappa brothers as they go about their business. My question to you: is there anything you'd like to see? I have some ideas, but I'm happy to consider opinions from the gallery. As usual, no promises, but if something catches my fancy I'll happily work it in.

In my last post I talked about blackmail stories. Here, I'd like to focus on an author that has made blackmail stories his speciality. (I'm assuming male here, but I admit to having absolutely nothing on which to base this assumption. I'm happy to be corrected.)

I discovered Vulgus maybe two years ago, completely by accident, on some random site that does not exist any longer, and rediscovered him through the Dijan Understories archive, where many of his stories are archived. More of his stories are available through Storiesonline.

Vulgus is quite prolific, and his tales tend to run long, which is something I love. I believe that really hot stories derive from getting to know the characters and care for them, which requires some room. That's not to say that short stories cannot be hot, of course, just that the mechanisms involved there are more subtle, and probably rely much more on the author connecting with something that's already there within the reader. But I digress.

I think of Vulgus a little bit like I do of Stephen King -- he has a few basic storylines he really likes, and he recrafts them into endless variations that maintain their own individuality. But you get the feeling that it's that way because that's the stories he enjoys telling, and he could write something else if he wanted to, and it'd be just as great -- he just chooses not to.

And that's fine with me. There are some real gems in his collection. Not all his stories are about blackmail, but many are. And they are rather rough; nonconsensual sex does occur with nontrivial frequency, so be warned. Here are some favorites of mine, in no particular order:

I Belong to Snake Now: A naive young wife who spends too much time home alone begins to explore the internet for the first time. After a few relatively harmless chats she finds herself being blackmailed into becoming a sex slave to a big bad biker.
I have just learned a valuable lesson. It has been, and continues
to be, a very costly lesson. Let me tell you about it.

My name is Ashley. I am 22, 5'6", 115, bright red hair, and as of
just over a year ago, very married. I met my husband in college
and we married as soon as I graduated last year. He graduated a
year ahead of me and is already well on his way to being the next
Donald Trump. Except for the hair of course. [...]

My Rival Wins; My Wife and I Lose: A not so friendly childhood rival becomes the employer of a young couple and fakes some documents and photos to blackmail them with. He abuses the young wife in order to torment the husband, his lifelong rival.
Ray and I had known each other all of our lives. Our parents were
best friends and next door neighbors so we didn't have any choice
but to try and get along. But for some reason, and I don't know
if either one of us could say what it was, we never liked each
other. We had maintained an uneasy truce and a less than friendly
rivalry since we started playing together at our parent's
insistence. Even back then though, even at the ages of three or
four we didn't like each other. [...]

A Bad Reaction: A young mother is falsely accused of a crime and convicted. She becomes a pawn and a sexual toy to an unscrupulous Parole Officer, she and her daughter both. EDIT: Someone reminded me that this story contains an underage character. To be honest, I tend to ignore that part and focus on what happens to the mother, but you may want to skip this story if that sort of thing squicks you.
I'm not even sure exactly what happened that evening, the evening that it all started. I was on my way up the stairs to my second floor apartment after a long, hard day at work. The elevator was out of service again. It was out more than it worked, so I wasn't surprised. I felt something on my butt and I didn't even think about it, I just reacted instinctively. I turned around and, seeing one of my neighbors behind me I did something that I had never done in my life. I drew back and slapped his face as hard as I could.

I saw the look of surprise on his face as he fell over backwards and rolled down the stairs to fall at the feet of his wife, who had stopped to check the mail. She screamed and that is the last thing that happened that evening that wasn't a part of the big haze. [...]

A Lesson in Social Justice: A young couple are taught a lesson in race relations when a black man moves in next door.
There are people who will not like some of the things that I
write in this story. If you are of the opinion that the south
will rise again (or that it should), if you are convinced that
the American Civil War was fought for financial reasons or to
secure state's rights then I highly recommend that you skip this
story. Some of the things I write here will offend your
sensibilities.

I will admit that a lot of what happened to me is a result of my
racist upbringing. If I had not been raised in a small southern
town by racist parents and if all of my friends had not been
racist I might not have done the things that I did. For it was my
misguided actions that triggered the events that I'm writing
about, events that changed the lives of both me and my husband.
I'm not saying that I deserved what happened to me, or what is
still happening to me. But I can't deny that I brought it on
myself. [...]

Amanda's Continuing Education: A young female high school counselor is seduced by one of the young students she is mentoring. His accomplice records the affair with a video camera and the young woman is forced into sexual servitude.
I am in more trouble than I ever imagined possible. I have always
been very goal oriented and very much in charge of my life. Or at
least I thought I was. I knew from an early age that I wanted to
work with troubled kids in some capacity. I excelled in school
and I was on the honor roll from the first grade until I
graduated from school. I always took the tough subjects and my
grades were perfect so I had no problem getting into the
university that I had my heart set on attending. Even if my
father had not graduated from there I would have had no problems
getting in.

I carried a 4.0 grade average throughout my undergraduate studies
and it seemed like I breezed through my post graduate work in my
chosen field. It was so easy it scared me. Really! When it was
all over and I had my Doctorate I kept thinking, "Is that all
there is?" I had a nagging fear for a while that they were going
to send me a letter some day and tell me that I forgot to do
something to meet some requirement and they had just discovered
it. [...]

Brian is Gone: Kim's husband is stationed in Iraq. She is drugged while attending a friend's birthday party. She is raped and filmed in compromising positions and blackmailed.
It was the first time I had gone out to have a little fun since
my husband had left for Iraq. His National Guard unit had been
called to active duty and before we had time to take a deep
breath he had been gone. He had been gone almost three months and
I was bored to death. All I ever did now was go to work and go
home and watch TV and write letters to my husband. I was a little
upset that I wrote to him every night and I got a letter from him
only once a week, if that.

I knew that conditions were rough over there and that he was
having a hard time of it. But just a note to say that he was okay
and still loved me would have been nice. We had only been married
for a little over a year and I knew he loved me, but I really
worried about him and I wanted a little reassurance. No, I wanted
a lot of reassurance, not so much that he still loved me, I knew
that he did. Rather that he was still alive and uninjured and
holding up alright. [...]

Brooke Can't Drink: An awful lot of bad things happen to a young wife as a result of a little problem she has when she drinks.
Everything seemed to come together at the same time in a terrible confluence of events that seemed destined to destroy me and my marriage. It all stemmed from a series of errors in judgment and very bad choices that quickly added up to a nightmare come true.

The first bad choice was made almost six months earlier. Taken by itself it would have been insignificant. It would have had no effect on my life at all. The small furniture manufacturing business that my husband and I started and have been running fairly successfully almost since we married eight years ago developed a small liquidity problem. It should have been no big deal. It happens to small businesses all the time. [...]

The next story is not strictly a blackmail story, but it hits so many of my buttons that I have to include it here.

A Wife with no Options: Ken decides to leave his wife of three years for a long list of very good reasons. In desperation she agrees to do anything and everything he asks of her if he will just stay with her. He puts her to the test, with the idea of getting some revenge. Maybe he should have done that three years ago!
I was furious when I left work. I don't think I had ever been so mad in my life. I had a chance to cool down a little as I dealt with the rush hour traffic. That was not my normal reaction to all of the idiots on the road. By the end of my normal commute I usually wished that I had a pair of fifty caliber machine guns mounted on the front and rear of my car so that I could shoot the idiots around me.

But this evening the crawling traffic had given me time to think and I no longer intended to storm into the house as soon as I got home and start screaming at my wife. [...]

How about you? Which is your favorite Vulgus story?

Blackmail Stories

I spent last weekend hacking upwards of 5000 words on The Adjusters #17 and The Adjusters #13: #17 because that's where I'm at in terms of actually writing new stuff, and #13 because that's the one that needs to come out in two weeks and it's not quite in shape.

The thing is -- and I know I've said this before, and if this kind of stuff bores you feel free to skip down to the stories below the cut -- when I first thought up The Adjusters back in 2008, I wrote five chapters: two introductory chapters, followed by what is now #12-#14. That's when I realized that the story started way too abruptly. I decided to write a prequel, basically, which became the Whatever Happened to Marjorie Duquesne arc, to introduce everyone and give them some life. Now that I've reached the point where I can actually tell the original story, enough stuff has changed that I need to rewrite those chapters almost from scratch. Which is what I'm doing now, and it's so much better than it ever was, so I'm happy. But it's more work than I expected.

And before you start screaming that because I'm writing #17 now I should post the other chapters faster, you should know that being 5 chapters ahead in terms of storyline is exactly what I need right now, because I'm in plot hell, trying to figure out how to get all the events that I want to happen to happen, in the order in which I want them to happen. So I've been shuffling stuff back and forth amongst all the chapters between #13 and #17, and pushing some stuff beyond that. It's slowly taking shape, but it's really convincing me that for Book III and beyond, I'll want to stick to simpler arcs.

To add to the madness -- dropping 5000 words on a single story in one weekend is more time than I can afford on smut, sadly -- I had a stroke of inspiration about something completely different that had been fermenting in that perverted mind of mine and I wrote the first chapter of a new story provisionally titled The Mesmerization of Daphne Fonseca. That story, which looks like it is going to be long too, will probably not see the light of day until at least 2012, but it'll let me explore stuff that The Adjusters will not quite let me explore without trying to shove square pegs into roundish holes.

I mentioned in my last post blackmail stories, and I promised some pointers to good stories along those lines. Here are some of my favorites on the topic, by no means exhausting the subject.

The Mortgage by Marlissa, is a classic in the genre. "The Mortgage is a ten part story about how an older man manipulates a young newlywed wife into becoming first, his secretary and then eventually his personal sexual plaything, both on and off-the-job."
Amy looked over at the secretaries busily preparing banking documents,
the clicking-clacking of computer printers and typewriters filling the
cavernous bank with the sounds of mortgages being prepared, deeds being
registered, statements being generated for scores of homeowners. Each and
every day thousands of mortgages are processed, each representing struggle,
persistence and a whole change of life. Owning property -- it was The American
Dream, a dream which had just come true for she and her husband. [...]

The Atonement by Racecar is another classic. A long story about a woman who pays the price for hitting someone with her car and running from the scene.
She can still see it all as if it were happening again this moment. The
expression on his face just before impact. She could see he knew it was coming
-- that he knew he was going to be severely injured and there was no way he
could avoid it. That expression clearly said what writers would take volumes
to say. She could see the face change as it hit the windshield only inches
from her eyes. It changed as if everything were happening in slow motion -- as
if he were willing time to slow down enough to allow him to get out of this
mess. She could feel the bump of the rear tires running over the body. And she
could still feel her foot pressing on the accelerator taking her away from
there as quickly as possible. She wonders if anyone else witnessed the horror
that occurred that night. She wonders if she could have saved his life if she
had stopped. She wonders how long these flashbacks would go on. She wonders
just what John really thinks of her. Outwardly he acts like the model of a
devoted husband -- offering her support and solace, as well as trying to cover
up everything. She wonders what would happen to her if the authorities found
out she was the hit-and-run driver they've been looking for since Saturday.
Mostly she wonders "why me?" [...]

For the next one, we're moving to much harsher stuff. Grace's Hard Lessons, by Darkavenger, is a twisted tale of a poor woman, Grace, caught stealing by her boss and blackmailed into more and more depraved behavior. It that wasn't enough, the story continues with Grace's Very Hard Lessons.
Grace looked at the tape in shock. There she was, changing the numbers
on the account transfer slip. It was caught on tape. She looked up at
Royston, her face pale.

"You wouldn't have been caught if you haven't been so greedy, Grace,"
the executive in his mid-thirties said.

"Nobody noticed anything the first three times you stole money from
the company," he continued quietly. "The numbers did not match up when
I did check the report, and that's when I suspected you. Obviously
relocating the security camera to point at your desk did help to catch
you red-handed." [...]

Let me finish with a guilty pleasure of mine, a story that is oddly written, with strange pacing, and unfortunately never finished as far as I can tell. But what's there is surprisingly hot, and it has gained a devoted following since it came out more than a decade ago. It's Better Than Prison by (I believe) Rex Molder.
My wife is a CPA who worked for a large weapons manufacturing
corporation. She was in charge of accounts for several foreign
governments and was good at her job. What she didn't know is that other
members of her corporation had been modifying some of her records to
cover up dealings with the Iraqi government, which are very illegal.
Everything went unnoticed for quite a while until the IRS performed a
surprise audit on her department. The audit took several days and when
it was finished everything seemed to be in order. A few days later the
head of the auditing team, a black man named Ron, called to set up an
appointment with her, saying there were a few things they needed to
discuss. When he arrived at her office he was acting very different than
he did at the audit. Instead of his previous professional behavior he
was being very obvious in his lewd appraisal of my wife. Although she
was conservatively dressed in business attire, he seemed to be paying a
lot of attention to her breasts and legs and wasn't trying to hide it. [...]

Response to Comments, and a Story by Erotica_Girl_NYC

Several comments came in on the heels of my posting The Adjusters #12 that call for some response on my parts. Very good comments, too. What do I mean by that? Comments that make me think about what it is I'm writing about.

I do read everything people send me, either as comments here or by email -- I may not be the fastest to respond, but I do give everything consideration.

Wow, very, very hot. I'm not waiting to see what happens when Biff calls. Any hints for eager readers? ;)

How about I give you a small preview of something that happens down the line, a few episodes hence, straight off the drafting board, just to wet your appetite? Be warned, this is unedited, and may well change by the time it comes out: Things hardly got better when the couple stopped their embrace. After Biff sat down on a seat, he patted his thigh and Jenn obediently sat down astride his lap, one arm around his shoulders, and nuzzling his neck, her long hair spilling across Biff’s back, the perfect picture of the devoted girlfriend. They were watched carefully by several students around them, many eyeing lustfully Jenn’s lithe form and long legs, undoubtedly dreaming about what she might feel like were she sitting on their laps. Then Biff pulled her head back and kissed her again, and that kiss was just as long and as passionate as their last one. Jenn was wriggling on Biff’s lap, and running her hands through his hair.

What if Biff dies before give another order?
Or Daniel breaks the bracelet?
Will Jenn get free?

I guess if Biff dies before giving another order, then what happens depends on the last order he gave. As of the end of #12, since his standing order is to respond to his call when he calls, if he doesn't call, I'd guess that Jenn just goes on living her life. You're thinking Biff might have an... accident? As far as breaking the bracelet, it's actually not entirely clear what would happen. The programming process that the good doctor uses is not the most stable, and only he really knows what the bracelets do. There was a warning of sorts in #11 that the bracelet should not be removed while a girl is "activated", that's about all we know. And as for Jenn getting free... that'd be telling, wouldn't it?

I find it Infuriating, how clueless this Daniel guy is about ongoing events. Everything is clear as day, yet he allows Biff to finish his binding mantra and refrain from any argumets with his girl. I would at least have snapped pictures or recorded a video of ongoing cheat with my cellphone, almost every cellphone has camera nowdays, right?

Yes, Daniel really was acting like an idiot, wasn't he? Not really what we came to expect from him. He's going to have to face up to his behavior, and figure out why he didn't do any of the things you rightfully suggest. In fact, he could have tried to stop Biff, or at least interrupt them, or take pictures, or confront Jenn more forcefully that evening. He just sat in a daze through it all. Like an idiot. He needs to have some sense slapped back into him. I'm with you on that.

Again, thanks for your comments, everyone. And please feel free to send suggestions my way. Now, I have the main arc for Book II fairly well plotted out (at least up to #23, but I know what happens even beyond that, if not in details), but I've been known to respond and use suggestions that people send my way if they tickle my fancy. So feel free to suggest things. I cannot promise I will use your suggestions, but I promise I will give them due consideration!

Okay, I've already blabbed for too long.

To keep you distracted, let me point you to an interesting story I've ran across on Literotica called Petty Cash, by erotica_girl_nyc. It takes a rather standard plot line (office girl does something illegal and is blackmailed by her boss), but the office girl character is more ambivalent than usual about the developments that occur, and the continuing story is quite promising:

I pushed the window over to the side and clicked back on the one containing my work. Lifting my head, I looked around...no one had seen anything. My desk was situated in a position in a corner of the office, so it made it hard for people to sneak up on me and see what I was working on. Still, I was overly cautious. I didn't want anyone to see that I was actually looking at wedding photos instead of working.

I clicked back on the wedding window. I sighed. The wedding in the pictures was so beautiful. My vision began to blur as my eyes teared up. I quickly dabbed them with a tissue and clicked back to my work.

It wasn't that I was one of those weepy girls who cried anytime she saw a wedding. I looked at the clock. 4:55 p.m. Almost quitting time. I was near tears because I'd been planning my perfect wedding my whole life, and now that I'd met my perfect man, Dean, and we were only 6 weeks away from our wedding, it looked like I wasn't going to be able to have it...

There are a lot more such blackmail stories around that are must-reads, and many that are just plain fun (read: "twisted and depraved and pretty hot", of course). I'll dig them out and post them next time. Stay tuned.

New Story: The Adjusters #12

Happy New Year everyone! I've finally discharged all my New Year responsibilities, and I'm sick as a dog. So there may be more errors in this month's episode than usual. Blame it on the medication, and I'll try to correct the most egregious ones when I notice them.

So finally, here is January's episode of The Adjusters, "Jennifer Hansen", wherein an old threat is put into motion.

As usual, comments welcome.

12 - Jennifer Hansen

"So what you're saying, then, is that you haven't gone out since we left for the holidays?" Daniel Malcolm looked at his friend like he had said that he was now subsisting on a diet of crushed glass.

Radhu Krishnamurthy, the friend in question, looked up from his computer keyboard, and nodded. "It so happens that most modern conveniences can be interfaced with remotely -- sustenance, laundry, scholarly pursuits --"

"What about classes? I mean, don't you have to, you know, go in and attend?"

"I signed up for the preliminary trial deployment of the online program in mathematical physics. The administration was pleased enough with my volunteering to provide me with some leeway in terms of course scheduling."

Daniel shook his head. "You're nuts! I get stir crazy if I don't leave my apartment after a day."

"Then accept this fact as further evidence that you and I are distinct individuals."
