Saturday Random Links

Nothing much to report this week, so let me dump some random smutty links.

I've fixed the links to my stories in the tab above, including adding a tab for The Adjusters, which was sorely missing.

The poll for who you could see playing the characters in The Adjusters is still ongoing, with a couple of nice candidates. Feel free to give your 2 cents/pennies/eurocents/centavos in the comments there.

I came across the paintings of Rob Hefferan. They are truly beautiful.

In case you don't know it, the webcomic OGLAF is sexy, quirky, and sometimes even funny. Start at the beginning with Cumsprite, and watch the evening disappear.

I really like tights usually, but these leg-bones tights may just be jumping the shark. I fear that calling them sexy would say disturbing things about my personality.

I wouldn't want to leave you without reading material. I've been given a pointer to the following classic by W. L. Telford called Worlds Apart: "Business took him to Asia. His wife stayed home. And was lost. More than either of them could ever have imagined." A slightly disturbing story of submission. I've halfway through it, and I'm finding myself liking it. Part of the reason why this is on the radar right now is that the author has started posting chapters of a sequel of a sort, Meat: " woman of rare beauty and intelligence is voluntarily sold into slavery."

A question for you: any sexy webcomics I should know about? I know there are a few out there, but I've never really kept track of them. Pointers in the comments welcome.

A New Story by Bluedragon

The usual writing update: still hacking on The Adjusters #19. I'm writing two scenes in parallel for that episode, one with Kyra, one with Jenn, and it's a bit disconcerting because they're so different. I'm going to have to work hard on editing to make sure that the difference comes out clearly.

I saw over the weekend that Bluedragon has started posting a new story to Storiesonline, An Ordinary College Sex Life 2: "The continuation of An Ordinary College Sex Life. Ben, Dawn, roommates, classmates, sisters, sorority girls, strippers, and even a teacher."

Bluedragon is the king of long and sometimes sprawling stories with lots and lots of sex. And once in a while, his stuff manages to touch me the way smut rarely does.

His current story is his eighth story in the "An Ordinary Sex Life" series -- the title a nice tongue-in-cheek jab at the fact that the sex life of the main character in the series, Ben, is all but ordinary. It's a nice series, with some amazing characters (Keira the neighbor, Adrienne, Dayna...), and some incredible scenes. Warning: there's some incest in there. If that's not your cup of tea, skip this and head down to the next paragraph. Otherwise, start with An Ordinary Teenage Sex Life, then An Ordinary Teenage Sex Life 2, then An Ordinary College Sex Life, and then you're caught up for the story I pointed you to at the top there. You'll thank me.

Now, Bluedragon has another series that I think I actually prefer to "An Ordinary Sex Life", and that's his "John Billionaire" series. The story of John, who runs into a massive inheritance that completely throws his life upside down. Oh, and brings him lots and lots of sex. Did I mention that? Again, some fantastic characters -- Taylor Brynn, need I say more? -- and hot sex all around. Go ahead: start with John Billionaire, then Jeff Thousandaire, then A Billionaire's Life, then Tom Billionaire.

For what it's worth, his stories are what convinced me to try my hand at a long series of my own. His stuff is somewhat less dark than mine, though. Different strokes, right?

An Adjusters Poll: Playing the Adjusters Characters

I've started hacking away on The Adjusters #19 and I'm finishing to edit #14. So everything's on track. Also, I've just finished posting Book I to the EMCSA -- which many of you know already because that's where you came from before landing here. But still. If you like to read your stories in HTML instead of the text files I provide, that's the place to go. When Book II is over, it shall go the way of the EMCSA as well, and similarly for subsequent books.

I'm on the road right now, so I'll keep this blog post short, and turn the microphones over to you. I like polls. We had one on what you'd like to see happen to Serena and Kyra in #18-19. And I've used a couple of your suggestions already, and some of the others I will figure out a way to use later on for a different story arc. So here's another poll. A reader, Igort, pointed out a while back that Serena made them think of Jessica Lucas. Which is rather cool. And I started thinking about who I'd see as the various characters in The Adjusters.

So tell me, preferably in the comments so that we can all partake in the joy: who could you see playing the characters in The Adjusters? Pointers to pictures always helpful.

All Things to All People

Well, look at that. The Adjusters #18 is undergoing prokaryotic meiosis, near as I can tell. Fascinating.

It is just getting too long. I'm halfway in, and I'm already hitting 8000 words. If I don't want it to be a 16000 words monstrosity (which I don't), I'm turning it into #18 and #19. Whee. Oh, and I did manage to work in at least one reader's (Anonymous) suggestion. Now I just need to finish editing #14. One scene to rewrite because it's sitting there, in the middle of the episode, sucking hard.

To stay with the biology theme, I ran into an interesting MC story a few weeks ago, written a couple of years back, taking a somewhat cliched premise -- lab worker has an accident, and either becomes Flash or a nymphomaniac -- and building an actual story around it. Have a look. It's by dweaver999, All Things to All People: "Lab accident turns Cynthia into a sex maniac." Short and sweet, like all Literotica synopses.

Dweaver999 has a bunch of other stories with more sci-fi-ish themes that I have not read yet, but may be worth it. I tend not to like sci-fi smut too much, probably because alien sex does not do that much for me. Or maybe it's just that I haven't found the right stories. If you have any favorites, post a link in the comments. I'll happily have a look.

So Bad it's Good?

I've started rewriting The Adjusters #14 from my original version of three years ago, because the first half doesn't fit the current story line, but at least the second half is in decent shape. So I'm happy. Meanwhile, slowly plodding through #18, which looks like it's going to be the longest one yet. But most of it seems necessary. At least, there's lots of sex. Always a pleasant thing to write, people having fun and getting it on. It's the last breather before the slide to the conclusion of Book II.

RL has been keeping me busy this week, so I'm going to keep this one short. One thing I've been doing when my brain turns off at night is surf Literotica by following the "recommended stories" links, that for each story attempts to link to similar stories, a bit like Amazon's "if you like this then you may like this too." I don't know if they are automatically-generated links or if authors or editors choose them, but you find doozies that way -- both good and bad.

And then I ran into a long story that's so out there, so incongruously exaggerated, so willing to plow through cliches like so many paper-thin walls, that for me it has blasted through the so-bad-it's-good brick wall. I've been reading the first 20 chapters, just to see where the author is willing to go with the premise. Have a look, it's delirious fun: An Opportunity not to be Missed, by Bambigirl44: "Busty coed submits to an old man." And when they say busty, they mean busty. Everyone in that story has a crippling boob fetish. And when they say old man, they mean old man. Oh boy do they mean old man. Actually, old men. You'll see. If you can stomach it for that long, that is.

A Couple of Spider-Man Stories, of All Things

A slow week this week. So let me just leave you with two stories about our favorite web-slinger. I don't usually read fan fiction (most of it's pretty bad, especially the smutty ones), but these two have a fairly involving story line. And come on, Mary Jane, everybody's favorite redhead?

First, a recent one, by SmithPortinoi, Chronicles of Spider-Man: "Spider-Man is defeated by the most unlikely enemy." The description doesn't render the story justice, but all of Literotica's descriptions are like bad movie taglines. Still, an entertaining story. And the mental image of Mary Jane drenched in semen from the second page just gets the ball rolling something fierce!

The other one is an older story, much older, at least in Internet-time. It's from Dimitri, who has penned a lot of very interesting long sagas, Spider-Man: Manipulations: "During the story, Herald Of Armageddon, Mary Jane Watson-Parker was knocked unconscious by an EMP Wave, along with all the non-super-powered inhabitants of New York City. Upon coming to, she discovered herself to be in the clutches of Norman Osborn, whom she thought had died several years earlier. At the climax to HOA, Mary Jane was revealed as one of the participants in Paradox's orgy, but it was never revealed how she got from being in Norman Osborn's clutches to having sex with a large number of super heroes. Until now." Yeah, I know, not much of a description. But trust me, good story. Also, no need to read Herald of Armageddon, although that's also a pretty good story (if you're into the Marvel Universe, at least, and have no problems keeping all those superheroes straight).

How about you, any good superhero story you like? Share your recommendations in the comments.

A New Story by Pamela

Still hacking on The Adjusters #18, which looks like it is going to be on the longish side (10000 words or so). I'd love for the episodes to be 6000-8000 words, but as you have undoubtedly noticed, I tend to overwrite. (And you see them after they've been edited down by the requisite 10% as per Stephen King...)

Meanwhile, I just noticed a few days ago that Pamela has a new story out, Over the Top, "a story in which both the author and her characters go way too far." This is way directly darker than her usual stuff, so I should warn you. Not for the faint of heart, or easily squicked. Do check the tags on the story.

Now, Pamela is one of my favorite authors of all time, and just like another of my favorites, Parker, she can do no wrong. Everything she's written that I've been able to put my grubby hands on has been well written, hot, and twisted just so. She (I'm assuming here) has this amazing ability to give life to characters that are essentially slaves to their kinks, in a way that is both realistic and eminently enjoyable. At least for us. For them, well, that's less clear. But I'd have to say yes, for them too. Which is a big part why the stories are so hot, or at least, why they work with me. The only downside is that she makes me realize how much better writing can be than I can achieve. But I'll live.

If you want to sample some of her work, here are some of my favorites. (And narrowing it down is difficult, as I said, it's all amazingly good.)

The Long Slow One, "Ellen has secret needs which her husband can't or won't satisfy. Lilah is a different story, but she can't help the fact that her husband can make her climax on command." Lilah -- the way she is both resigned to her fate and at the same time craving what her husband can give her is mind boggling.

In the News, "Newspaper editor encounters various aspects of female submission." That barely scratches the surface. The character of Stella, who lets herself be completely controlled by the narrator because she can't help it and because it turns her on so much, is perhaps the best of the lot in all of the recent stories I've read. The scene where she is given away to her date... Just... wow.

Noel, Noel, "Noel is blackmailed--or is she?--by a coworker at her office, but her home life is even more complicated, with her sadistic father and captive sister." More office shenanigans. This is one of those stories that just when you think you know where it's going, BANG, you get whacked on the head by a big pile of awesome. And sadistic in the above description seems way to weak as a qualifier for the father.

Simon Says, "It occurred to me that just about all the women who suffer in my stories are either helpless, unwilling victims or compulsive masochists who crave the pain and degradation they receive. I wanted to write a story about a woman who fell into neither of those categories--and about the things we do for love." As the description says. The scene with Jason the chauffeur is just perfect.

Taxi to Torture, "Young couple discover D/s with the help of an older couple and their friends. They like it." And so do we. One of the first Pamela stories I've read, and still one of my favorites. Emma's a great character, of course, but Patricia -- the way Patricia discovers her own submissive side is just amazing.

All of these are a good take-off point. They will certainly give you a sense of Pamela's writing. And if you like those, then you will like the rest of her repertoire. And you'll be in for a treat.

New Story: The Adjusters #13

My apologies for the delay, but without further ado (aside from the barrage of comments leading up to this point, for which I thank you all because it actually led me to rethink one aspect of the story), here is February's episode of The Adjusters, "The DVD", wherein blood is spilled, both metaphorically and literally.

As usual, comments welcome.

13 - The DVD

"Look, why didn't you just break the fucking bracelet if it bothered
you so much then?" Serena was getting frustrated. "I mean, how about
you rip this one out too, while you're at it. Go on!" She lifted her
arm, showing the silver charms bracelet on her wrist, catching the
light in the noonday sun. They were sitting outside the Darnell Cafe,
a small shop in the middle of campus, taking advantage of the
unseasonably warm weather. The lunchtime crowd was slowly clearing
out.

"I don't know, okay? I wasn't thinking. It was..." He could not
complete the sentence.

Serena sighed with exaggerated drama, then shook her head. "Okay, let
me see if I got this right. Yesterday, you say you saw your fiancee --
Jenn, little miss good girl, whom we know and love and who is so
completely and utterly crazy about you that it's sickening -- cheating
on you with, of all people, Biff Cusker, bully extraordinaire, and not
only did you not, oh, I don't know, stop them or in any way barge in
like a real man would have, but you didn't even document the event?
Your phone?"

"I don't know."
