Fly-By Blogging

Writing Journal: Still writing :)

Quick post tonight. A reader sent me this link to a story on Literotica that I had not come across and that is indeed quite good:

It Didn't Work Out, by -Ripley-: “Husband pushes his wife to explore her lesbian fantasies.” Wife sharing of a different kind, and a story that took me by surprise because it went in a direction that I did not expect. Some very hot scenes (if you like F/F sex), and a rather touching underlying romantic story. All in all, I'm quite pleased. The rest of this author's work seems quite interesting as well.

Thanks for the recommendation!

Dominated Wives

Writing Journal: Nearly done with The Adjusters #58. The second scene's turning out to be quite important.

Two stories that fit in the theme from last time, but with a kinkier submissive feel to it.

From Wife to Slut Slave by Puremaster: “A sweet housewife becomes another man's personal slut slave.” Some cool ideas and straight up nasty stuff, written in a somewhat juvenile fashion. (Present tense is hard to pull off under the best conditions.) Still, if this is your cup of tea, you'll enjoy this.

Michael and Jessica's Sexual Slaver by A_random_user: “A white couple slowly falls under the control of a black man.” A nice slow build, and it seems to be leading in a dark and dirty direction. Slow updates, though, sadly.

Some Wife Sharing Stories

Writing Journal: Steady progress on The Adjusters #58. I got three scenes pretty well mapped out, though I figured out a fix for what was bugging me in the third and last scene only a few days ago, after much of the scene had already been written out.

A few interesting stories have accumulated in my to post folder since the Holidays. In no particular order:

Sharing Melissa's Mouth, by TessMackenzie: “He wants to watch her give another man a blowjob.” There's a sequel, Sharing Melissa: “Watching her have sex with another man.” Good hot stories, and I really really love the dialog, which flows seamlessly and does so much heavy lifting that I'm slightly envious.

Talking It Up With Jill, by Jack7: “I tell Jill about my fantasy of men mating with her.” Actually an old story, which saw an update a few weeks ago. Some nice scenes.

Shifting to Lushstories, we have Always Faithful, by BobNbobbi: “Married secretary's birthday gift to her boss.” Slow moving, with a sort of lyrical quality that might get on people's nerves after a while, but some of the kinks in it are way up my alley.

Station Identification: Smutty Footnotes

What's This?

You are visiting Smutty Footnotes, a blog that I maintain since August 2010. This is my little soapbox, which serves several roles. First, it's where I talk about and publish the smut that I write. Second, it's where I point out interesting smut that I've run across in my eternal quest to find the most arousing fiction out there. Third, it's where I wax lyrical about random smut-related tidbits that I encounter both online and offline. Oh, and in case that was not clear: yes, this is very much a smut-focused blog.

I try to post twice a week, Wednesdays and Sundays, and I tend to post late at night.[1] Most of my posts have a portion I pompously call my Writing Journal, where I comment opaquely on what I'm writing at the moment. Between you and me, it's therapy more than anything else: it gives me a sense that I'm actually getting stuff done. I try to whine less than I used to. (Thanks, anonymous commenter!)

And Who Are You Anyway?

Glad you asked. I go by the name Bulgroz The Third here and a few other places. I have been writing smut since the late nineties, but did not inflict it on the world until 2008. To be fair, little of what I wrote before then is digestible. My stories tend to involve mind control and distinctive power dynamics between characters.

Yes, I do have a life, and no, it is not all sex all the time. I wish. No, what you get here and in my writing is a projection of my personality onto the smut plane. Not unexpectedly, it yields a singularly distorted view of yours truly, but one that maintains some of my real-life characteristics. Chew on that.

So What Can We Expect For 2015?

Excellent question. My current running serial The Adjusters continues with monthly episodes, published the first of the month when I'm not running late because of this or that.

I still have great hopes to push out a story or two unrelated to that Universe. And try my hand at something vaguely interactive. We'll see. Ideas are not the problem, it's the time to get that done. Writing does not come easy to me.

I'll keep on pointing you to interesting smut that I encounter here and there. I'll also delve into the past and presenting classics from the last three decades, classics that I have read and loved, going back to the early days of Usenet and alt.sex.stories. There's a lot of amazing stuff out there that you may not know and may find interesting.

[1] That statement is going to make long-time readers snort. I've been atrocious at keeping that posting schedule for the past six months. But New Year's resolutions, right? At the very least, poking me head out once a week should be achievable.

New Story: The Adjusters #57

Here is January's installment of The Adjusters, “Intermezzo: Patrick Dee", wherein we get a glimpse of the inner workings of ADCorp, and realize things are always more complicated than they seem.

As usual, comments welcome.

I'll also remind you that we have a Speculation Thread available for general discussion. (A thread which I read but do not comment on.)

The Adjusters #57 - Intermezzo: Patrick Dee

“In short,” the vice-president of Sales Division, Michael Halderan, was saying, “as we would expect, profits are steady, and we are probably going to make our numbers for the quarter. We’re steady. We’re growing where we want to grow, and holding steady where we are saturated.”

Patrick Dee sighed, only making a thinly veiled attempt at hiding it with a conspicuous yawn. He found quarterly meetings boring. Which was not surprising, since he found meetings simpliciter boring.

And Halderan was not done. “Our latest analysis does unfortunately predict that we won’t be able to keep this up for long. Frankly, our existing clients are asking for more, and we cannot offer it to them given our current development plans. And we cannot grow out customer base for obvious reasons.”

George Clayton, Vice-President of Investigation and Enforcement Division, more commonly known as Control, nodded. He had quit smoking a few years earlier, after a scare with lung cancer. But a life-long habit of smoking had left him with a tic that made his finger rise up to his lips at regular intervals, like clock work. It drove Dee crazy.

Neither Halderan nor Control needed to spell it out. All ADCorp executives around the table knew the words: critical mass.

Next month: “Intermezzo: Eve Shawbank”.

Happy New Year

Happy New Year everyone!

I suck at doing retrospectives, but overall, 2014 was a good year. And 2015 looks like it's not going to be too shabby either.

Resolutions? The only one that applies here is more writing. At some level, it's just schedule and discipline. Let's make it a concrete goal: put out something else than just The Adjusters this year. I got plenty of projects started. I just need to finish one of them. More on that later.

Speaking of the devil: I'll post the next installment of The Adjusters when I get back from my New Year's travels, after this weekend.

In the mean time, here's an MC story I had not noticed the first time around but that's pretty nice and twisted: Apex by Deviant Lizzie: “Growing up Eric had always been an awkward child, but as he goes from his teens into adulthood he finds himself becoming something more than a normal man. Developing heightened physical abilities, a superior intellect, and a strange control over women, Eric struggles to find the secrets behind who he is and his destiny.”
