Mid-Week Blues

Writing Journal: Crap. I wrote a whole scene with a hypnotist for The Adjusters #52 only to realize that it doesn't fit, and I have to scrap nearly 4000 words. I hate when that happens. So long, Mesmerizing Mephisto. Maybe you'll get your day in the sun somewhen else in the story line.

Throughout May and June, I'm asking for your input about the sort of kinks you might want to see in The Adjusters.

I have a few stories bookmarked that are worth pointing out, if only to jerk me out of this blue mood that's been hanging over my head since the weekend—for no particularly good reason either.

The main theme here seems to be blackmail and coercion with a touch of incest for a few of them too.

Saving a Marriage, by Otto Weininger. No description, but the story of a wife who learns about her husband's affair and agrees to go with him see a marriage counselor that, well, manages to convince her that she could be putting in more effort to save her marriage.

The Stimulus Plan Slut, by Ahabscribe: “Wife & mother turns whore to save her family's home.”

A Bad Neighborhood, by Ted E. Bear: “This story chronicles a summer in which a mother & her 13 year old son are held captives by a local gang. The gang uses the mother as a sexual play toy, forces her to prostitute herself for them, and even makes her have sex with her son and his friends for their amusement.” Ted E. Bear is an author I've always particularly enjoyed.

Two Mind-Control Stories

Writing Journal: Still writing. I should have something new to report soon. Oh, and you'll be pleased to know I've started revising The Adjusters #28, although I keep finding things to revise in #29 instead...

RL still somewhat crazy. But I did come across—pretty much by accident, by having a look at the old alt.sex.stories.moderated newsgroup—a new MC story by Cindy Silver Eyes that has some very good moments in it, Principal Power. No official description, but it's the story of a school principal who gets his hands on the Minvari Stone and uses it to control a pretty teacher and her sister. Dark and sinister, the way we sometimes like them.

Speaking of dark and sinister stories, last week I pointed you to a story by Ted E. Bear, and it made me think of those other stories of his that I really like. Here's an oldie but goodie, one that should be read by any fan of the genre, Revenge on My Ex-Boss: “Carl turns a business around, from nearly bankrupt to a really profitable one. His contract calls for him to be able to buy into the business, as long as he still works there, but the boss fires him, before he can buy in. On the way home he has an accident that gives him strange new powers and he uses those powers to extract revenge on his boss and his family. He turns the wife & daughters into slut whores willing to fuck or suck anyone. While they know that they are doing things that they don't want to do, it doesn't diminish their shame and humiliation over what they are doing and how they exposing themselves to everyone.” This story has everything, and more, and with plenty to spare. While the eight parts of the story are available from Ted E. Bear's site, the link I gave you is to a hyperlinked version of the story.

Some Oldies

Writing Journal: The Adjusters #27 seems to have been well received. I find it interesting that most of the comments that came my way—thanks to everyone that took the time to drop me a note, it's greatly appreciated—were plot-related. Nary a peep about the sex. Which tickles me to no end. On a different note, had an insight today about how to approach Book IV. You'll see what I mean in good time, but while Book III is going to be pretty straightforward, Book IV is going to be challenging, in a technical way. But I may have found a suitable crack into which to wedge my trusty plot-buster.

A couple of oldies to keep you distracted in this first week of April.

The first is by Trukin_fool, here's How to Earn a Promotion. No description I could find, but it's basically the story of a man who's up for a promotion at a company, and who discovers what needs to be done in order to secure that promotion. As a hint, it involves the wife. A nice little tale, with interesting scenes, and much implicit hotness. I love how the wife tries out her shtick on her husband—very well done.

The second is a long tale, by Kathy B. and Ted E. Bear, called Coerced, Parts 1–8 and Parts 9–11: “Charlotte, in doing a friend a favor, by overseeing a party that her friend's daughters are having, in her absence, get's drugged, and does many things that she shouldn't do, including having sex with several underaged boys. As a result, her ‘friend’ blackmails her, and her husband, into forcing Charlotte to become her maid, and, unbeknownst to her husband, she also becomes a sex slave.” Kathy B. started the story, and after Part 8 Ted E. Bear picked it up and continued it. It's a good dark tale of blackmail and abuse, where the abusee ends up torn between shame and pleasure. Some very nice scenes in there—I'm a big fan of the jogging thing. I'm just sad that the story seems to have been abandoned, because I really want to know who found the date-panties....
