A Longish Fun Story

Writing Journal: Been busy revising The Adjusters #33 because, well, tomorrow. And then I discovered that I needed to write a new scene for it. Wish I had noticed before. I'm still hoping the installment will come out tomorrow, but there is a slight chance it may be delayed for a day.

Ran across this story two days ago, and I haven't gone farther than the fourth chapter, but it's pretty sweet, and I like it enough to point it out to you even though I can guarantee that it remains readable throughout.

It's Convenience Vs. Need, by Tx Tall Tales: “Two single mothers try out new living arrangements.” The story of one Jack that moves in with two women to help them out, in exchange for exactly what you expect, and their subsequent adventures. The sex is hot, hotter than the somewhat bland premise might suggest. (I really enjoyed Tx Tall Tales's other story, Sis-in-law Incentives, which I talked about before.)

One Long Domination Story

Writing Journal: Still playing with The Adjusters #35. Don't ask me why I'm so slow. On the plus side, I think I figured out the perfect cliffhanger for the penultimate installment of Book III.

One long story for you this week.

Here is Cathartico's Vanessa's Dissonance: “An arrogant bitch becomes the office whore.” The twisted tale of Vanessa Laren, a beautiful young woman who ends up taking a job that she probably should not have in order to pay the bills, and discovering much to her dismay that she has a taste for humiliation.

Stories about Wives and Hookers and the Bits in Between

Writing Journal: Finally putting the finishing touches on the main sex scene in The Adjusters #35. Took way too long. Way too long.

We had some visit at home last week, which did not keep me from doing my daily bit of writing, but did put a crinkle in my rooting out fun stories and posting on this blog. It's all fixed now.

The theme is wives and whore games (for lack of a better term)—wives that either fantasize about being hookers or whose husbands fantasize about being with a hooker, and things of that ilk. Not cheating so much as playing.

The best example in this area is Ashley Zacharias's The Whore-for-a-Day Game: "A wife with a penchant for playing games, designs a special role-playing game to breathe new life into her marriage. She will pay a severe penalty if she loses." I really like Zacharias's writing, and she can write some hot heady sex with plenty of twists.

Second up, Irxgbr's Fancy Dress Whore: “Courtney dresses as a whore for the party.” A wife fulfills a fantasy—some interesting ideas in there, and some very scenes.

Marquisdeslut's Jenn's New Job does not involve a wife, but it belongs here, in spirit if not in theme: “Jenn's broke, so takes my money with her ass.” His friend becomes a hooker, and he enjoys an insider's relationship with her.

Finally, not quite on theme, but nevertheless, as you'll see, it also belongs, is Loving_hubby's C'mon, Let's Spice It Up: “Wife takes the initiative to revive a stale marriage.” Not what you're expecting. The first half at least really had me going.

Weekend Random Links

Writing Journal: Still trying my best to finish the first scene of The Adjusters #35. Slow going.

A bunch of random links to celebrate the first week of September.

Shalom Auslander (an author I quite enjoy, by the way—loved his Foreskin's Lament) wrote an interesting essay on the interaction between enjoying really hardcore pornography and one's sense of morality. Favorite quote: “Like eating chocolate made from babies.”

I refuse to comment on Fifty Shades of Grey. But I can appreciate this Fifty Shades (Porn) Generator. Who needs smut writers anymore? (Via Tiny Nibbles)

A class of stories I enjoy, as anyone that reads this blog knows, is blackmail-themed stories, where sex is obtained as a result of threats or blackmail. Now, I enjoy that as fantasy. Once it crosses into real life, it's another matter altogether. I think it's a good thing, as readers of the genre, to make sure that we're not unsensitized to how terrible it is when this sort of thing happens for real. Two stories about this came out in the last six months. Not cool.

Vaguely related, and again on the topic of appreciation of nonconsensual fantasy as compared to real life, here's a primer on creepiness, so you can avoid being creepy. Creepy in a wholly different way is the relationship between Pickup Artist Techniques and Sexual Assault.

Away from serious somewhat depressing topics, here's an interesting trailer for a documentary on men seeking artificial companions, The Mechanical Bride.

Short kinky true stories from Fleshbot: Ending at the Beginning, and My Ass Is A Good Storage Space For Jizz.

Here's a sweet little Tumblr where people submit short filthy sex secrets. Some are pretty hot. Some really get the ol' imagination going.

I'll leave you with a story. From Big Jake we have The Outlaw's Revenge: “A teenage girl's testimony sends a gunslinger to prison. After four years without a woman in that West Texas hell-hole, he breaks out with one thought on his mind -- to even the score with the girl who sent him up. And that girl is now nineteen, beautiful, blonde and tan, and she's got more curves than the Rio Grande. And she's alone on her daddy's ranch." Sex, domination, torture—the trifecta. And an actual plot and well-developed characters. And hot sex, of course.

A New Story by Ravenswing

Writing Journal: It looks like The Adjusters #32 was well received. Which of course makes me happy, as it always does, but even more so this time because I was a bit anxious about it—after all, it is a bit different than what has gone on before. Still, it's reassuring, and helps me press ahead with #35, which is kicking my ass right now.

August sucked. I mean, really sucked. Nothing bad actually happened, but it was one of those stretches of time were everything—and I mean everything—seemed to converge towards one big nexus point of badness, without ever quite hitting it, but always threatening to. I suspect you know what that's like. There's only so much ominous the-killer's-behind-you music you can take before your nerves start fraying...

Here's to September looking up.

I learned a couple of weeks ago that Ravenswing has a new story out, or at least the first two parts of it. It's Just Relax: “Patrick helps out when Melinda is having trouble sleeping.” It's actually a pretty sweet mind-control story, and I'm curious to see where it goes.

The reason why I'm excited about it is that Ravenswing's the author of one of my favorite mind-control stories ever, the hot and kinky Magic Lessons: “Michael's new neighbor, Miss Calvin, comes to visit him in his dreams.” An innocuous enough premise, but that Ravenswing twists delightfully into steamy sex and interesting mind control with domination elements. The kind of story where you fall in the love with the love interest yourself—here Miss Calvin. Worth reading.

New Story: The Adjusters #32

Here is September's installment of The Adjusters, “A Wedding and an Orientation”, wherein we encounter an odd character, and follow Daniel Malcolm as he joins ADCorp.

As usual, comments welcome.

I'll also remind you that we have a Speculation Thread available for general discussion. (A thread which I read but do not comment on.)

BOOK III — DO YOU TAKE THIS WOMAN?

The Adjusters #32 - A Wedding and an Orientation

(Beckley, West Virginia. Twelve months ago.)

He walks in the back of the church when he knows no one is
looking. Not that anyone would notice him, really--he was always good
at fading into crowds, and there is nothing that distinguishes him
from the rest of the guests. He has donned his best suit for the
occasion, which helps greatly. He is nevertheless nervous.

He makes his way to the rectory, to the side of the chapel. He tries
his best to avoid people on the way, which turns out to be easy
because everyone is busy welcoming one another and introducing
themselves to those they do not know. There is joy in the air, the joy
of two families coming together, and that joy bolsters him, lightens
his bones, provides succor.

He hides behind a convenient column when he sees the door of the
rectory open. What has to be the Maid of Honor comes out, looking
excited and fetching in her long apple red gown. She giggles a "I love
you" back into the room she is departing before closing the door
behind her and hurrying down the hallway as fast as the heels she
clearly is not used to wearing allow her. He feels the pull to follow
her. But he resists. He has a mission.
