Writing Journal: Plotting on
The Adjusters Book VI is turning out to be trickier than expected, because it affects upcoming threads in upcoming books. Basically, until it now, it was a matter of expanding the universe to set up everything that needed setting up. Now, it's time to start bringing everything together slowly, and I don't want to mess it up. And I'm my own worse enemy for that. I have to remember to keep Book VI as simple as possible. Avoid big entangled complications. Go for the straightforward arc.

Well, the good folks at Studio F.O.W. clearly feel the same, because they just released
BioShag Trinity, a supremely well-done 3D animated movie where wonderful Elizabeth lets go of all of her inhibitions.

Second scene, Elizabeth is more than happy to fuck a hideously deformed mutant.
But in the last scene, Elizabeth is... terrified by black men and taken against her will.
I don't want to look for politics in my porn, but it was really jarring when I was watching it.
Short answer: yes, quite probably.
ReplyDeleteInterestingly, and maybe it's just me that's wired that way, stuff that I would find triggering or even offensive in either real life or straight drama, doesn't quite bother me in a porny setting. In fact, sometimes they even make things more interesting—the whole taboo aspect, I suppose.
As do I, If we all did or tried to do what we enjoy in reading in real life I fear the jails would be even fuller than they are now.

ReplyDeleteThough there's probably an essay that begs to be written about the cultural impact of very dark smut — but I'm so very far from being the right person to write it that it's actually funny to think about.
I do find it interesting that ASSTR is one of the largest web sites on the planet. Not exactly sure what it means but I do have my own ideas.
